Unusual login activity detected on your account

If you have received an email notifying you that there has been an unusual connection to your account, you will need to verify two things.


  1. Verifying the time of connection is the first step.  The time is listed in UTC, so you will have to convert it to your time zone.
  2. Checking the IP address is the second thing to do.  You can use the website https://whatismyipaddress.com/ to know what your IP is.  If you are working from home and are using a VPN, the IP address may differ.
