Internal job alert - Scheduled update for the 2nd of July

This upgrade aims to improve the job alert mechanism offered by ATLAS to better target the employee group versus the general public.

Internal candidates (employees) of the organization will also be able to specify new selection criteria, such as the type of offer or salary, and determine their subscription based on the types of postings: public, internal, or both.

The option to receive alerts via text message has also been added, and this communication method will be available to candidates only if an SMS package is activated by the organization.

Organizations wishing to activate internal job alerts must notify customer service by making a request to [email protected], in order to confirm the authentication method used by employees to sign up for internal job alerts only.

Registration for Internal Job Alerts:

Once the necessary configuration is completed, the employee's email will be required for registration, and the subscription will be strictly limited to the organization's domain name (e.g., [email protected]).

Employees can then register by selecting the Job Alert option available on your ATLAS organization profile.

The candidate will be able to select their preferences and check one of the alert frequency options to proceed.

Once the option is confirmed, the employee will need to enter their email address and submit their consent by accepting the terms and conditions of use.

The email will be verified at this point to validate if the candidate qualifies for the internal job alert.

If the candidate confirms their desire to subscribe to the internal job alert, they will be asked to authenticate using Microsoft or SAML, depending on the established configuration.

Once authentication has been established, the candidate will have all possible options  for their subscription.

The initial section pertains to the newsletter. On the organization's end, simply customize the automated message if needed and activate it.

The newsletter is sent according to the frequency chosen by the candidate and will include a list of newly published or modified job postings.

In the other option, the email is sent only if an alert is triggered. Ensure the "job alert" automated message is activated. Once a job posting is published, the organization must "trigger a job alert" for the candidate to receive an instant email.

Use Cases Depending on Subscription Choice

If you trigger a job alert for an internal posting, the link will be sent only to candidates subscribed to this alert. The newsletter will also be available according to the selected frequency.

When you trigger a job alert for an internal or external posting, the candidate will receive a separate email for each.

If the posting is published simultaneously for both internal and external audiences, the internal link will be sent by default if the candidate is subscribed to the internal alert.
